How to Apply DIY Cluster Lashes at Home
DIY cluster lashes are one of the fastest ways to get a salon-quality lash look at home. With a little practice, the right tools, and quality lashes, you can create a soft glam or dramatic effect in under 20 minutes.
Step 1: Prep Your Natural Lashes
Start with clean, dry lashes. Remove any makeup, oil, or residue with a gentle cleanser. Curl your natural lashes and apply a thin coat of mascara if you want extra lift.
Step 2: Pour Lash Glue
Place a small drop of lash glue on a clean surface or the back of the cluster tray. Wait a few seconds for the glue to get tacky before picking up a cluster.
Step 3: Place Under or Over
Using tweezers, dip the base of the cluster into the glue. Place it slightly underneath your natural lash line for a seamless look, or on top if you prefer a more dramatic lift. Work from the outer corner inward.
Step 4: Let It Set
Avoid touching or wetting your lashes for at least 24 hours. This helps the bond last longer and keeps the clusters in place.
Aftercare Tips
- Remove clusters gently with a lash-safe remover.
- Clean clusters with micellar water to reuse them.
- Store lashes in their original tray to keep their shape.
